We believe in giving back to the community in which we work. In addition to helping and giving to many local churches, we also are proud to participate in the following:

Salvation Army

Todd Transit has been donating the use of trucks and drivers to the Salvation Army for more than 10 years. We are proud to be able to assist an organization like the Salvation Army that in turn helps so many people in our community.

During the 2011 Christmas season, Todd Transit donated a truck and driver for the Twelve Hours of Salvation Toy Drive to assist in transporting toys to 4,020 local Children. Read a note of thanks from the Salvation Army here.

The week prior to Thanksgiving 2010, Todd Transit delivered 96 empty fiber barrels to 62 different businesses in the Greater Rockford area for the Salvation Army Food Drive 2010. To collect the full barrels in December, Todd dispatched 6 drivers in trucks with lift gates so they could handle picking up at businesses that did not have docks.

96 Hours Of Caring

On November 19th, 2010, Todd Transit donated the use of and dropped an empty 53' trailer in the parking lot of Valli Produce in Loves Park, Illinois. Radio Station 96.7 "The Eagle" was conducting their annual 96 Hours of Caring Food Drive, and needed the empty trailer for gathering, storing and delivering the donated food to the Rock River Valley Food Pantry.

The Food Drive collected 3,700 pounds of food and $1,000 cash for the Food Pantry. Todd Transit is proud to have been able to participate in this wonderful cause that helps so many.
